These pages are filled with the wisdom of Black mothers who decided to collectively pass their lessons learned to the next generation of mothers and daughters. What started out as personal letters from me to my daughter became a project of collective letters to our daughters. You have the opportunity to receive from beautifully flawed, perfectly imperfect mothers on the road to still becoming who they want to be. Together, we share messages of pain, hope, struggle, and strength!
